AWMA value the future of our business and therefore have a firm commitment to meet the customer’s satisfaction. All AWMA staff holds current police clearances; current logged experience, manufacturer’s endorsed accreditations and specifically trained to conduct your simple to complex projects. AWMA comply to strict rope access Australian and International Standards (IRATA) and supervise all scopes of work with a Level 3 IRATA licensed.

AWMA is fully insured and maintains a minimum Public Liability of $20 million.

Being trained and qualified as IRATA technicians it is important for our team to maintain a competent knowledge of all aspects of the IRATA qualification. Not all of our training is utilized on a daily basis, such as personal recovery/rescue. In an emergency situation staff need to be clear and confident on how we will proceed with a rescue and ensure they undertake any procedures in accordance with the IRATA guidelines.

AWMA carry out personal training days periodically throughout the year. We utilize a factory workshop run by a registered training organization, which regularly run courses on single rope rescue and personal recovery. Our company training days sometimes coincide with these rescue courses. Our staff members freely offer any aid to the instructor and the trainees on the course with some techniques and variation to their training gained from their previous experience in twin rope use. We have found not only does it help others learn but it also assists our own staff members with their training.
